Hi, I'm Ash. I write software for people, with emphasis on accessibility and utility. My pronouns are they/them.
- In 2013 I created Washboard, a specialized mobile-centric view of Tumblr, to fill some gaps in the user experience. It has over 50,000 registered users and is still actively used today.
- In 2017 I wrote Unicodex, a snappy & lightweight Windows 10 desktop app for typing arbitrary Unicode characters. I use it all the time.
- Now I'm working on DDRGuide.com, a comprehensive resource for newcomers to the arcade game DanceDanceRevolution. It's a React app that gracefully degrades without JavaScript.
During that same timespan, I've been writing code professionally for various organizations. Yours could be next! Send me an email and we can chat.
